Spring Break??

The kids were out of school for the supposed to be SPRING break, not to be confused with CHRISTMAS break mind you!  Utah is famous for white Easters and NOT white Christmases and this one was no different!
We decided to spell out SPRING BREAK and do things that began with those letters...we did pretty good in the short time we had and in the crappy weather that was ours to deal with.
S is for Snow Shoveling, Sidewalk Chalk and watching Dad receive a Scout award
P is for Playing Pool with Pop
R is for Redbox movie
I is for Ice Cream
N is for Nature Walk
G is for Grandkids and Grandparents day and night :) (all 7 grandkids under 12 had a sleepover)

B is for Baby Animal Days ( Gracie, Melena and the Whitemyer Crew) Baby horse and Jase McCormick
R is for Rollerblading
E is for Easter Egg coloring and Easter Egg Hunt (Neighborhood yearly hunt)
A is for Airplane Museum (with cousin Chance and Aunt Debbie)
K is for Kite flying

Dakotah and Jaden were the smart ones of the Martin family and headed to St. George for sunshine and warmth.  Made it back before Saturday night Priesthood session, scoring brownie points for sure!

Pictures of the Youngest and the Oldest

So as we have a child that will graduate this year, we have another who has just begun her schooling years...Her first Dance with Daddy was such a perfect night for her!  We did the whole shopping for a dress, pampering and doing nails with her friends, and being surprised with just the perfect handmade coursage that her Mother created especially for her.  Her Dad took her to dinner and made her feel like the Princess she is!
Dakotah has a wonderful Aunt who took his Senior Pictures.  She is so fun and so willing to follow him to where he wanted to go.  We think they turned out awesome!  As he ends his schooling career, we are very proud of the example he is to his younger siblings
