Life As We Know It

So its official...Dakotah has his call to Lima West Peru!!  Feb 16th and so much to do.  We had to celebrate so we took an overextended weekend and went out of town.  We headed to Island Park with the Alan Martin family where we 4-wheeled and floated the river for a couple of days.  Beautiful Beautiful fall weekend.  Warm and sunny.  We went to Yellowstone and stayed the night in Jackson.  What a great get-away!

 Love this family of mine!!  How blessed we are and how excited we are for Dakotah as he embarks on a new Chapter of his life.  Bitter-Sweet is a perfect word describing this change that will soon be here.  A word that can only be understood in a situation such as this (right Hilary?)  

Tomorrows do come and then they are grown

Dakotah is now an Elder....My heart is full, My mind overwhelmed and my emotions on overload.  We raise them to let them go but then as that time is fast approaching  I am  realizing it's not black and white and in my mind... He will always be my little boy.
