12..Twelve...TWELVE!

All of the guys in our home will hold the Priesthood come Sunday...  How powerful is that?  Seriously!! Ke'Nie and I are very blessed ladies.  I cannot even imagine the strength of it but I know it is incredible.  I am very blessed to have had boys come to our home and make a safe haven for their little sis.  I LOVE our family.  Heavenly Father made it perfect just for Ken and I.  Ridge had a birthday on the 2nd and alot of great things are in store for him.  He passed the hunters safety class and is so excited to be able to go hunting.  He is now in middle school and likes it so much better than Elementary.  He is now a Boy Scout and into Young Mens and in a couple of days he will have the Aaronic  Priesthood.  Ridge is such a sweet boy.  Quiet and always with a sly smile.  He loves video games, shooting guns and bows and arrows and he works very hard when he wants to :)  He is good in math and Science and enjoys reading..finally!  He is a cheesecake lover, tapioca craver and loves taco soup.  He really likes Burger Bar!  He will be a great young man and we are soooo excited he is a part of our family.  Ke'Nia thinks he's great and always thinks of him when we are shopping!  The way they fight you would never guess it, but I'm sure he loves her right back.
On New Years Day we went shooting all the new guns Santa dropped off and for Ridges Birthday he chose to take his good friend Jake Rowlan and his sis and Ke'Nia to Get Air.  We ate his favorite dinner..taco soup and he celebrated with a cheesecake.

A page of Christmas 2012 memories

This year an advent calendar of service, fun and treats decked the banister.  Christmas came quickly as it does and left us with warm hearts and resolutions for a great New year.

Christmas...  Where are you now?
Guns were a favorite this year as well as blow dart guns and bows and arrows.  It was a a weapon kind of year.  Ke'Nia scored herself a pink bb gun from Dakotah as well as a tablet from Santa.  The flu did make it to our house after Christmas but before New Years..Oh well we snuggled in and stayed warm!
