Memories...

Memories..  I am grateful for my Memories!  I was driving home from Target and suddenly a Memory of my Grandpa came to mind and then it went on to my Gram and then my other grandparents and it was awesome!  I made many great memories with them.  Gram Blackner memories....Summer sleepovers, trips to the little store, sitting in pajamas next to Gram watching cartoons, sleeping in the tall bed and listening to the wind and the tree branch hitting the window (South Weber wind :)), deep spoons and oatmeal with half and half, brownies with mint frosting and fudge on top, running through the sprinklers, all the cherries we could eat off the tree in the yard, chickens and brown eggs, big barn where we played house among the hay bails, HUGE snow drifts (South Weber Wind!) and  words only that Grandma could say to Grandpa "ohhhh Daddy!"  Grandpa Blackner.....Tractor rides, bailing hay, many many stories of "back in my day..." prickly kisses, and rocks, rocks, rocks!  He polished many a rocks!
Grandma Jacobsen.... Lots and Lots of Hot Fudge on ice cream, thick thick tinsel on her Christmas Tree,  teaching me how to Crochet, how to play the card game speed, BIG hugs!  Flamingo Mirror in her Bathroom and lots of gaudy jewelry!  Grandpa Jacobsen.....hours on hours of fishing ( I was his best fishing buddy!)  Hee Haw every Sunday, Mowing the lawn with the push blade mower, camping trips, and being called "tee legged tie legged" Tammy and him singing the song "Tammy" to me.  Great Grandma Keyes.....Beautiful handmade Christmas ornaments and ceramic trees, Beautiful dolls and crotchet doilies  and a long beautiful life!   Thanks for all the Memories Grams and Gramps and here's to many more when we meet again!
