Fairies, Lepracauns and Chaos!

Who would think that this little snare created by Ke'Nia would lead to this......

Seriously!  So I was working over at Ambers when I get this call from the kids....Ridge: Hi Mom what are you doing?  Me: I'm at Ambers working I just realized you just got home.  What are you doing?  Ridge:  Cleaning the house.  Me: What do you mean cleaning the house, that's weird!  Ridge:  It's a disaster!  The cushions are tipped the books are thrown everywhere and candy is all over the floor.  Ambers child over hearing the conversation:  I bet its the leprechaun that made the mess!!  Me:  Ri thinks it was the Leprachaun was it?  Ridge:  Mom...I don't know maybe.   So it looks like it was!  (re-creation for visual effect...could have totally looked different than this :) )  So not only did we deal with that uncatchable little mess maker but we had issues with the tooth fairy also!

So Ke'Nia lost her first tooth at school the day before St. Patricks.  It's about time but all of the Martin children start to get their teeth when they are like 2 and loose them around the end of 1st grade or 2nd grade.  She was so excited to put it under her pillow.  Ken happened to fall asleep on the couch and sometime during the night Ke'Nia ended up on the floor by him along with her little tooth.  Morning came and the tooth fairy did not find her little tooth.  So the night of St. Patricks I asked her if she thought the Leprechaun was playing tricks on her.  I pulled back her bed and behold, there lay some silver!  She was sooo confused as how that money got there.  I asked her if she thought that the leprechaun might have hid it under her pillow in her room.  She for sure is sure that is what happened.  Even though that Leprechaun caused a huge mess he turned out to be the tooth fairys best friend!  Now to find that darn old tooth.......I'm sure that Leprechaun dropped it somewhere along the way!
