So we just returned home from the Circus....CircusCircus that is! Where we enjoyed 3 whole days of sunshine in a ROW. Much needed after this crazy spring. Could have done without some of the "shows" that you find in the city CircusCircus was in, but we avoided as many as we could and had a most wonderful time. Dad and 2nd oldest Son, enjoyed golfing while Mom and the young ones explored the Circus!
Dinner at Circus Circus buffet was terrible...even the kids wouldn't eat it. Dinner at Tony Romas the next night made up for it though. Next day we walked down to the Stratosphere and Dad and the Jade enjoyed the spinney thing at the top of the hotel
Luckily we escaped that ride cuz the little ones were to short. We drove the strip and took in some amazing sites not all for children s eyes or adults I might add...but it was pretty amazing to be in a small part of the city that resembled so many different places. The roller coaster ride around New York New York ended the thrill of scariness for the guys
We headed out and half the fun of the trip was the silliness. Every hour on the hour the kids received a little something..
We headed back North and stayed in Mesquite as the Casablanca. Little ones swam while the guys took in some more golf.
We took in the movie HOP that evening and settled ourselves for the night.. The kids wondering if the Easter Bunny would find us away from home...Oh No! Would he?? Trying to get a hold of him at midnight is an interesting thing, but he did make it and we woke up to Easter fun.
It was time for the ride home. Back to the rain and the cold but now ready to get on with life. We were circus-ed out and was determined to get back Easter Sunday the way it should be spent. At home we listened to the Easter Story while eating treats feeling as though we had never left.

I am so jealous you got to see the sun! It is freezing here! Sounds like a lot of fun. We told the Easter story to our kids too and I can't do it without crying! I am glad to hear about Dakota I am sure you are missing him!
