Well I just haven't been so good at this lately and I'll tell you why......I just so happened to make keeping up my blog a New Years Resolution....that's why! So here goes my first blog of the year.
Winter?? Didn't happen! A teaser here and there but no real snow. Unsatisfied snow enthusiast at our home this year. 5th grader snow pass to many resorts...used just a couple of times. Season passes to Snow Basin and Park City..used but left the boarders of the house a wee bit frustrated. A Presidents Day weekend to Sun Valley...once again disappointment because of the snow and the dislocation of the shoulder of a person we will leave nameless :) (Poor Dakotah) 2 dislocations this year after surgery in September. The first one, 4 days later and it would have been a year to date of the first dislocation ever! And the other one followed about a month later. So much for snow and bank accounts!
The Company?? that's a lot bit more exciting! Lots of things happening!! Made it in the Forbes magazine and on the cover of Utah Business. Ken just was notified that he will receive the Innovators National Postal Award for their company this year in Florida! A program he was able to get the postal people on board with has made a difference in how company's are now being able to ship. Lots of opportunity's in the works and a bunch of happy, busy, overwhelmed and excited business owners. I blame them for all this sunshine and lack of snow haha.
Family. A loss in our family in January. My last grandpa is now with all those he has missed. Home where he no longer is lonely. My heart misses him so much and I forget he is not here. Many memories and a few treasures are mine to keep him in my heart forever until I see him again.
On a lighter note..Ridge had a birthday and received his arrow of light! Ken also celebrated his birthday!
Ken and I celebrated our 25th! Holy Smokes it's true! He has dealt with me for 25 years! That is a HUGE accomplishment! Spent the night in SLC hanging out and catching some movies. Shared the weekend with Alan and Melenna and had a great time. So looking forward to at least 25 more years with the bestest man in the whole world! Could we be any more blessed than having 4 beautiful children?? Truly the best gift we have been given...EVER! The gift that keeps on given.
Here's to goals of life, love and happiness! Hopefully documented and cherished :) and most importantly...carried through!
