School Days coming to an end..........

As the year wraps up I am always surprised how quickly it went by, especially the 12 years that is now over for our 2nd son Jaden.  Sighing with relief one moment and dabbing my tears at another.  Life is always changing..nothing stays the same and life never stands still.  I'm sure it's an exciting time for him as he moves on and becomes the man he is anxiously waiting to be.  Remembering his first day of school with way to much dark hair and trusting deep brown eyes.  Giving him a kiss in front of his classmates and believing he was the last one I would have to send to kindergarten.   He was ok and ready to start his k-12 adventure without his mom.  Always involved and eager to push himself academically and socially to stand out but not enough for all the recognition and other hoopla to make it "nerdy" Pushing the limit on curfews and activities to almost the point of punishment.  Willing to help out whenever needed and quick to still give him mom a hug (even in front of his buddies :) )  A natural in all sports and excellent in snowboarding, wakeboarding, scootering and now biking.  Excels in assignments given to him at work at cbr, impressing even the programming guys.  Finding problems and helping with solutions is a talent he has at work and in his own life.  Easy to like and to get along with and some great looks to woo the girls.  School will go on for him.  He received a scholarship to Weber and he will attend there in the fall and then his plan is to serve a mission.  Jaden is a HUGE blessing in our family and a light in my life.  I am so very proud of him. With love in my heart and memories to savor I wish him all that a mother could hope for him in his life.   Praying I have given him the desire to follow the one who will continue to be with him every moment of his life.  To be able to trust and not fear, to believe and not doubt, to move forward with faith, love and excitement and remember who he is and what he can do to change the world.  Someday some very lucky lady will take his heart and he will give her the best story of her life.  But I will never let him forget....I was the first lady to give him mine..<3  So happy for you Jaden!  You will be an awesome man...I believe in you now and always!!
