Officially Serving

Elder Martin is now out of the Guatemala CCM and is in Santo Tomas San Salvador.  This is his first e-mail from there:

Hey!! Thats so awesome sounds like a fun week ;) yeah sorry i couldnt call, they wouldnt let us!! Is that the same mish as Graham?? thats so crazy im so excited for her!!     how is everything going?? what has dakotah been up to?? and you guys?? how is ridge and kenia?   all is well here, I am in el salvador and safe and whatnot..  me and my companion (elder Rodriguez ( from peru (speaks no english))) were assigned to the area of Santa Tomas look it up on gmaps. i would tell you my address but they dont have any here.. it is so hard to get investigators because they cant explain where they live. its all by paradas or busstops. it is a complete jungle out here there are houses EVERYWHERE on the hills in the trees it is rediculous and they arent houses they are danty shacks.. our house is alright, its big and empty. i forgot my camera ... but ill be sure to uplead all the pics to my drive next week. i have one with my comp it should be on there. uhhmm my suit has a rip all the way down the sleeve my watch broke (and my comp doesnt have one either) and i lost the galazy. i have no idea where it could have gone im pretty upset.   so about the mish uhmm we had a baptism on satuday of josue and I invited a girl (carinita) to be baptised in june. so i guess you could say things are going well for the first week! ;) the spanish is coming slowly but it is coming! our area covers from the lake to the ocean in the area but i havent been to either yet..

The CCM was great, I had a great district (ill upload a pic next week) so it made it alot better. i hated how there was no organization buts its all good. it was really helpful but i wish i could have left knowing more. everyone here is pretty cool! i havent meet anyone that was too bad yet and the people here are fun. I got to talk to Chad!! he is doing great, He absolutely loves it here and is doing great. he got assigned to the other end of the area so i wont see him again till next exchanges.yeah i still havent gotten sick at all! i get destroyed by moskitoes though ill get a pic next week.yeah i think my finger is okay, im just worried it might hurt wakeboarding when i get back!!

intonces..... all is well!! hope your having fun back home! peaceee
